Single Volunteers Boston (SVB) SVB strives to create a fun, productive environment for Boston singles to connect. SVB is an alternative to bars and dating services for single professionals who want to meet one another while performing worthwhile services in the greater Boston community. In doing so, SVB provides singles with the opportunity to impact their community, and environment in a tangible way. SVB offers "one time" volunteer opportunities to 10 or more volunteers at a time. These projects can be anything from answering phones during a telethon to staffing blood drives, or cleaning zoos and parks. Events last anywhere from 2-5 hours and are followed by a social event at a local restaurant or pub where volunteers can continue to get to know one another. Single Volunteers Boston MIT Club of Boston: IVY+ Singles Events: Single Alumni 30-49+ are cordially invited to join members of the other alumni clubs for the events listed below. Events are organized by volunteers from sponsoring alumni clubs: Brown, Columbia, Cornell, Dartmouth, Harvard, MIT, Penn, Princeton, Stanford, and Yale. If you want to volunteer, have fun, make new friends and business contacts Boston Jaycees Habitat For Humanity Boston: Habitat Boston is financed by private donations from individuals, community groups, corporations, charities, foundations, schools and religious organizations. Habitat for Humanity Boston Museum of Fine Arts: MFA Friday: Enjoy jazz, cocktails and conversation with other young professionals at the MFA. Admission is $10 and the event runs from 5:30 - 9:30 PM. There is a cash bar. The first Friday of the month is usually draws the largest crowd Museum of Fine Art
