Ski Club of Washington DC: The Ski Club of Washington, D.C. (SCWDC), is more than a ski club, it's a club for all seasons with nearly 400 events throughout the year. The Club offers more than 40 ski trips a year in the U.S. and internationally and 350+ recreational, social and sporting events and activities. Crabtowne Skiers: is a non-profit club dedicated to having fun. Year-round activities include: downhill and cross-country skiing; sailing and power boating; biking; hiking; dancing; socials such as parties, dinners, plays, and movies; overseas biking, skiing and touring; and various other recreational activities.   Crabtowne Skiers   

Columbia Ski Club:   A very active ski club with a great ski schedule, a variety of activities, sports leagues, parties, and more. General Meetings are the 2nd Monday of every month. Socializing starts at 7:30, with the meeting at 8. Meet new members, sign up for activities, and hear interesting speakers. Potomac Pedalers: PPTC is a non-profit educational, recreational and social organization for bicycling enthusiasts. We are one of the largest bicycle clubs in the United States, and the largest in the Metropolitan Washington D.C.area. PPTC

Potomac Velo Club was founded in 1992 to promote the sport of cycling.  Their membership consists of all levels of experience in cycling. One of Potomac Velo Clubs strongest features is the promotion of off road cycling events consisting of mountain bike and cyclocross races. In 1999, Potomac Velo Club promoted 2 mountain bike and 2 cyclocross races.   Meetings are held the last Wednesday of the month at our sponsors shop,   New members are encouraged to join and will help the club to move forward in its efforts.  Potomac Velo Club

Bike & Brunch: is a group of Jewish, mostly single, bicycle riders who enjoy fun Sunday rides in the Washington DC-Baltimore area. In addition, we have an evening ride during the mid-week. The Potomac Appalachian Trail Club (PATC) is a volunteer trails organization with a membership of over 7,000 headquartered in the Washington, DC area. The main purpose of PATC is the upkeep and improvement of nearly 1,000 miles of hiking trails, 30 shelters, and 28 cabins in Virginia, Maryland, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, and the District of Columbia.  PATC

Learning Escapes: A social group for singles of all ages who like to get out of the city with others like themselves for some fun and good times in the beautiful foothills of the Virginia Blue Ridge Mountains, just an hour and a half from Washington and one hour from Charlottesville, as well

Singles on Sailboats: SOS is a non-profit organization of about 800 members whose purpose is to bring together single adults who sail, or wish to do so, in order that members can meet others with similar interests. SOS has extensive sailing, educational and social programs. Members in the Springfield area meet the 2nd Tuesday of each month for Happy Hour at the Blue Parrot Lounge, Springfield Hilton, 6550 Loisdale Road (across from Springfield Mall) from 6-8 pm. All single sailors are welcome to attend. Additional information may also be obtained by calling 410-798-4089.
