Dallas Jewish Singles Groups

Genesis: Temple Emanu-El's community for singles ages 21-45,  is the fastest growing young Jewish singles group in Dallas. They run a diverse assortment of social, educational, social action, and religious programs throughout the year. This year's theme for our monthly study sessions, Third Wednesday, will be "Jewish X-Files: The Mysterious Side of Judaism" and is held on the third Wednesday of every month at 7:30 p.m. at Temple Emanu-El. Innovations provide s enriching and quality social, recreational, cultural, educational and Judaic programs for Jewish singles in a comfortable setting that allows singles to meet each other. JCC membership is not required for participation in the program. Innovations programming is planned for
two age groups; those in their 20s and 30s and those in their late 30s, 40s and 50s. A monthly flyer is mailed to approximately 3,500 singles in Dallas. New Dimensions of the Jewish Federation of Greater Dallas - New Dimensions is a Campaign Division of the Jewish Federation for single men and women ages 22-40. The mission of New Dimensions is to provide Jewish singles a means to develop and express a sense of belonging and commitment to the Jewish community as well as the world at large, for today and the future. Perspectives: The young leadership of the Dallas Chapter of The American Jewish Committee - Perspectives include singles and married couples under 35 years of age. Shearith Israel Young Adults - SIYA has formed in response to the needs of Jewish young adults, both single and married, between the ages of 22 and 40. SIYA's mission is to provide programs and services around the holidays, as well as monthly study groups typically led by Rabbis Jordan Ofseyer and Stefan Weinberg. ZAZ: the Young Leadership Division of the Zionist Organization of America - ZAZ creates a foundation for future leadership in the Jewish community by: educating young adults to be able to withstand and answer anti-Jewish, anti-Israel propaganda; building pride in Israel and their own Jewishness; understanding the history and sociology of Israel and the Jewish people; building a kinship with Israel and the Israeli people; understanding modern Zionism as a bridge for all Jews, whether they are religious, secular, non-practicing, etc. Typical ZAZ events include knowledgeable speakers on current events in the Middle East, visits to local congressman and senators, Israeli movies, seminars and tours to Israel.
