Dallas Singles Outdoors/Hiking/Rafting/Adventure

DFW Outdoors is the newest and most active outdoor and social group dedicated to singles and couples in North Texas. Each week, you'll find a diverse set of activities ranging from social gatherings, cultural events, hiking, biking, camping, sporting events, weekend travel and even extreme events like skydiving. Adventure Team encompasses many different outdoor adventure sports, which include backpacking, camping, canoeing, climbing, hiking, kayaking, and mountaineering.  The group meets at the REI in Dallas the 3rd Monday of each month.  They have guest speakers, door prizes, raffles, race updates and results announcements and opportunities to meet other area adventurers and race promoters. Texins Outdoor Club: A non-profit based organization, funded by the Texins Association of Texas Instruments.  Although the Texins Outdoor Club is primarily for the enjoyment of Texas Instruments employees, the club is allowed to recruit 20% of their active membership from outside of Texas Instruments/Raytheon. Dallas Down River Club: Make new friends who share the love of paddling.  Beginner or experts are welcomed to experience of wild whitewater exhilaration or on quiet flatwater floats.  Trips scheduled in East and North Texas, as well as 3-5 hours trips to Arkansas, Oklahoma, and the Hill Country.  Meetings are held on the third Thursday of each month at Enchilada's Restaurant, Abrams @ Northwest Hwy. at 7:00 pm.  Dues are just $20.00 per year. Dallas/Ft. Trail Dogs' Hike & Swim is a new singles hiking group that focuses on enjoying the best of the outdoors with other athletically inclined, dog-friendly people and their happy pups in a laid back and adventuresome atmosphere. We take weekly hikes on hidden forested trails that lead to limestone outcroppings and clean, crystal clear, cool spring water swimming holes. Our hikes occur year round, rain or shine, summer and winter, including occasional day and road trips not limited to the Oklahoma and Texas hill countries. Dallas Singles Sailing

Cowtown Mariners   A group of single sailors as well as newcomers of the world of sailing who sails, charters boats (local & Caribbean), hosts parties, wine tastings, and more.  Members do not need their own boats and sailing lessons are offered.  Membership dues are $40 per year. Plano Pacers Running Club The club has over 450 members and is growing!  Members include children and seniors, recreational and competitive runners.  Plano Pacers is for all ages and ability levels  They meet for monthly running race the last Saturday of the month at 8:00am at Bob Woodruff Park, Park Blvd just east of North Central Expressway, Plano. 5K fun run each 2nd Tuesdays at 7:00pm at CiCi's Pizza, Spring Creek at Custer, Plano. Scubadillo Dive Club , also known as the 'Dillos, has been goin' down since 1984.  One of the oldest and the largest dive clubs in north Texas this is definitely the place to be.  The club is involved in diving education, diving techniques and physiology, the marine environment and social events with other divers.  They welcome all divers old, new and want-to-be's alike!  Even if you're not sure whether diving is for you, come to a meeting and talk to some of their members.
