Houston Canoe Club  Whether you are a beginner or a seasoned canoeist or kayaker, the Houston Canoe Club can benefit you. Houston Fit Running Club  Approximate Membership: 345   Promotes competitive and recreational running in a fun and social environment. Houston Striders   
Approximate Membership: 130   Promotes running for fun and fitness. Our club is made up of runners, joggers, walkers, cyclists and volunteers of all ages and from all walks of life. The club provides information to support new and experienced runners in their fitness and training.  Club Runs: 10 miles River Oaks run every Sunday at 7:00 a.m. from Memorial Park Tennis Center. Houston Singles Sailing

Texas Association of Single Sailors  Meets every Thursday at City Streets in the Blue Monkey Room. The official meeting begins at 7:00 PM, but members gather socially starting at 5:30 PM and often linger until 9:00 PM, or often there is an alternate place for further social activity after the meeting. 713-267-1112
