They host over 40 social, athletic, and recreational events and trips each month. Their membership is mostly non-smoking single professionals between 25 and 50. Rey invites all singles, regardless of sailing
experience, to join us on the first and third Thursdays of each month. Meetings
begin at 7:00 P.M. and are held at the Pacific Mariners Yacht Club at 13915
Panay Way in Marina del Rey. The cost is $7.00. A light buffet is included and
beverages are available from the bar. Come and get acquainted with us and then
plan to enjoy a day of sailing. All who attend are eligible to sign up for our
day sail on the following weekend. Special privileges are accorded to skippers
who make their boats available for the daysail. Activities include:

Marina del Rey Long Beach Singles Sailing Association is a 15-year old volunteer organization that promotes boating, sailing and socializing for singles. LBSSA is the largest Sailing Association for singles in the US and the only one in Southern Califorinia that is a member of the Southern California Yachting Association (SCYA). Membership is comprised of approximately 35% boat owners (both power and sailing) and 65% crew. No boating experience is needed, just a desire to sail and have fun with other singles. We hold meeting on alternating Tuesdays where we encourage our skippers to post Crew Wanted lists for daysails and other club boating events. Meetings are held in the Crystal Ballroom of the Golden Sails Hotel, at 6285 Pacific Coast Highway, Long Beach. A social hour begins at 7:00 PM followed by our general meeting and program at 8:00 PM. Come join us for a large variety of both land-based and boating related activities for singles. Golf LA Golf Singles provided quality golf events and social opportunities for singles in Southern California. Membership is 50% men, 50% women. Age range - 35 to 60…average is mid-40’s to 50. Members from all over Southern California - Ventura to San Diego. All skill levels except beginners. Must score under 120 on 18-hole course Play twice monthly on Saturdays or Sundays. Weekend events in other areas (e.g., Santa Barbara, San Diego, Arizona) almost monthly. In total, we have 53 days of golf for 2000! Generally 30 to 50 people at each event. Play in mixed foursomes without regard to ability level. Many other year-round recreational and social events including water skiing, river rafting, dinners, cruises, biking, touring, and camping.
