Big Brothers Big Sisters of Las Vegas provides adult mentor matches for at-risk youth in the Valley. These adult mentors provide individual attention to, and caring for, the child and as a result contribute to the self-confidence, self-esteem and self-worth of each child. Mentors usually spend a few hours time with their "Little" approximately 2-4 times monthly doing such ordinary things as going to a ballgame, going for a walk or grabbing an ice cream cone-ordinary things we often take for granted Big Brothers Big Sisters of Las Vegas Las Vegas Jaycees Provides young people between the ages of 21 and 39 the opportunity to develop personal and leadership skills through local community service and organizational involvement while expanding the Junior Chamber movement.
