Opera Company of Philadelphia's Junior Guild The Junior Guild, an under 35 "young friends" group established for the purpose of audience building and diversification, is a division of the Opera Company of Philadelphia and the Philadelphia Opera Guild. The group has become enormously popular with younger opera enthusiasts and also with those looking to get more involved with the performing arts in in Philadelphia. In fact, the Junior Guild has more than doubled its membership in the past three seasons and has received its share of national and local press, including articles in Time Magazine, Swing Magazine, the Philadelphia Daily News, City Paper, Philadelphia Weekly and Seven Arts Magazine.
