Portland Oregon Christian Singles Groups Portland Hobnob is a focal point, a meeting spot for Christians around Portland. Our goal is to create an environment full of life where people can have fun together, meeting people with similar beliefs and interests. We are an inclusive group, so everyone is truly welcome including non-Christians. Please be over 21 years old. Portland Hobnob Christian Connection Ministries CCM, is a non-denominational fellowship of over 1,000 "unofficial members" who are mostly Christian and mostly single, from Coos Bay, Oregon through Stevenson, Washington. Their mission is to enrich the lives of Christians, minister to the special needs of singles, attract unbelievers to Christ, and help others help themselves -- via fellowship, mutual support, quality-of-live issues, and community involvement. In addition to other activities, CCM holds singles dances in Salem & Portland, Oregon on a monthly basis, and frequently in Vancouver, Washington. We also sponsor a monthly Community Dance at the Clackamas Armory at Camp Withycombe, Oregon. They often combine our dances and other events with a fund-raiser or community service activity, such as collecting food or toys for the community. The group typically meets 6:00 p.m. Sundays at the church (unless otherwise specified) for a variety of different activities such as an informal discussion series ( past topics have included angels, the Beatitudes, the book of Genesis, singles in the church, and TV's influence on our culture), a a movie or have a potluck and discuss life. The group has two or three social activities per month: dinner nights, hiking, biking, barbecues, picnics, Super Bowl parties, retreats at the beach and mountains, bowling, symphony concerts, and the occasional spontaneous night on the town. They meet from 7:30pm-9pm on Fridays and 9:15-10:45am on Sundays for worship, fellowship, and Bible study.
